"Magic is dying, and the Magus is dying with it. We travel together to the realm of Umbra where magic was born." Fall of Magic (produced by Heart of the Deernicorn) is a collaborative storytelling game that evokes an epic fantasy journey. Players escort the Magus to Umbra and develop the story of why magic is dying using prompts at each location along the way. The game works best when the players are of similar age and maturity so this event is for kids only (ages 8-12). Parents are welcome to stay, especially if their kids need help reading the story prompts. The rules are simple and will be taught beforehand, but you can read the rules and get a sense of how the game is played at the Heart of the Deernicorn website (https://heartofthedeernicorn.com/product/fall-of-magic-digital-edition/).
Warnings: The event was originally listed with rules of "Fall of Magic (1st)." It has been changed to "Fall of Magic (1st Edition)."
