Play a character based on one of 6 small animals. The Awakened Woods that these animals inhabit is sanctuary to non-predatory animals and is an idyllic, peaceful home until one day everything changes.
The Awakened Woods is protected by a village of Sprites (tiny fey) who live in the center of the woods in the Nexus Grove. They have used their magic to ward the woods from humanoids and predatory animals, allowing those creatures that live on plants and insects to flourish in a cooperative setting. Animals that live within the Woods find themselves with increased intelligence, similar to the awakened spell. The Woods have been a haven for these small animals for centuries and it has enabled them to thrive together in peace and harmony. Until one day a fox walks in.
