What's worse? Plague? Monsters? Or divine wrath? In the end it doesn't matter. Your job is to clear the floodlands so the farmers of Yaruga can get to work. By any means necessary.
Early in the year 1269, Lyria is still shattered from the outbreak of the Catriona plague and the aftermath of the Second Northern War. Sir Johan of Aldersberg is given stewardship of the fortress of Scala and orders to restore it and the surrounding lands: a seemingly impossible charge. The one light of hope seems to be the fertile floodlands of the Yaruga, yet the farmers are too scared to consider approaching them. Yet if the fields are not cleared by planting time, the whole region suffers the threat of famine. With few other options, Johan empties the shallow coffers of Scala to hire mercenaries, including a Witcher, with a simple goal: The floodlands must be cleared and the farmers put to work, by whatever means necessary. We'll be donating the ticket revenue from all our events to Gen Con's chosen charities.
