You suddenly find yourself in Waterdeep with no idea how you got there. Strange things are going on. But why would you ever leave? As everyone will tell you, "This is the greatest city in the world!"
You suddenly find yourself in Waterdeep. Where you just were and what you were doing there is a blur. But you've been here before; you know these streets. As you investigate places you know and talk to people you remember, you realize that something is off. The people are... different. A bartender who was never friendly towards you suddenly gives you a drink, on the house. Taxi drivers who you've never spoken to now seem to know you. Something is very wrong. As you explore further, you find other outsiders who seem as confused as you are. They don’t know how they got here either. Anytime you or your new friends bring up leaving the city, a local says, “Why would you want to leave? This is the greatest city in the world!†Anytime you try to move around the city, a local insists on coming with you. You don't know what is going on, but you are determined to find out.
