Learn & practice the techniques needed to make chainmail armor, including making & cutting rings out of wire & knitting mail.
A chainmail shirt takes between 40 and 80 hours to construct. This workshop will review how to acquire or make all the tools needed, how to make butted chainmail rings out of 14 gauge wire, and how to knit mail. Participants will leave with as much mail as they can finish by class end, and the knowledge to complete the project at home.
