The Great Rivers of Catan challenges Catan fans to race for the gold by building settlements and bridges alongside the river tile. Those who build along its banks stand to profit from the gold craze sweeping the land, for they will receive gold for each settlement and road they build on the river. The Traders & Barbarians version will be used.
The event was originally listed with rules of "Base Catan w/Traders & Barbarians (The Settlers of Catan 4th)." It has been changed to "Settlers of Catan (4th, base with Traders & Barbarians)."
