Nine-time Golden Demon winner, Dave Pauwels, will demonstrate the various techniques he uses in creating realistic metals and discuss the theories behind those techniques. A particular emphasis will be placed on weathering metals and how to achieve a realistic rust and patina effect using ink and paint washes and glazes. Students will receive samples of “secret formula” washes.
