This will be a discussion of how Star Trek became an important part of our gaming heritage. The subject will cover the evolution of Star Trek games from the first appearance of simple phone-modem computer games through various family and hobby oriented board games, and on to the modern role-playing and starship battle simulations of current game design. Michael Scott (co-designer of the Starfleet Battle Manual from Gamescience and author of Star Trek: Adventure Gaming on the Final Frontier from Heritage games) will lead this discussion of one of the most enduring license subjects of the past forty-two years.
