An interactive panel assessing characters' moral actions, with primary focus upon Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, and My Little Pony. An introduction to the logic of systematic moral thought, this will be a one-man panel with high audience participation. The 3-font principle is a fundamental tool for assessing any human action, so called for the three things to be analyzed in any situation: the intention, the act itself, and the consequences. After a brief explanation of the principle, the group will investigate case studies primarily taken from Cowboy Bebob, Death Note, and My Little Pony. Case studies from other media may be presented by the audience, provided that remaining time is available. Familiarity with moral theology is in no way necessary. Familiarity with the aforementioned shows is not necessary but will provide helpful context in the discussion.
