This isn't your grandma's Survival Horror Game. Yes there will be guns and swords and you will fight zombies. But there will also be pop culture references and comedy! You may even die, of laughter. This is something new we are trying this year. We ended up making our last RISING game of GEN CON 2012 to have a little bit more of a comedic bent to it. Instead of just explaining what was going on in the room we used a popular British comedy we were all familiar with and did a small skit (that sort of went along with what was going on in the game)before the fighting ensued. The group seemed to enjoy it and so we have decided to try a more refined version of it this year. We hope that if you get to try out our new game, that you enjoy it as much as we are enjoying coming up with yet another fun way to play RISING.
