Hands on. Theory of light and reflection, and techniques to depict them on miniatures. Intermediate level. Includes a free Dark Sword mini and 6 page colour handout. How do you paint light? Most miniatures are painted as if lit by ambient light sources. But what if you want to paint a miniature carrying a torch, casting a bolt of magic fire, or standing under a streetlight? Join award-winning painter Rhonda ‘Wren’ Bender to learn more about the theory of light, and to practice hands-on with tips and techniques for painting light sources and their reflections on miniatures. Each attendee receives a free high-quality figure from Dark Sword Miniatures, and a 6-page colour hand-out. Paints and other supplies are provided, but you are encouraged to bring a good brush. Intermediate level.
