Games can develop fundamental thinking skills, just as weight machines can develop muscle groups. Intellectual games exist where the challenge to win is so much fun that they subconsciously increase specific skills such as reading and pattern recognition.We will discuss the value of games of both types in the learning environment, and show you through hand-on play that games can be effective teaching tools for learning through having fun.
