In Napoleon, players maneuver their armies on a map, along roads that connect towns of the period. When enemy armies clash in the same town, a battle is fought. Battles are resolved on tactical boards where clever tactical maneuvers allow good players to dominate weak players, and smaller armies to defeat larger armies. The game is a simple yet elegant simulation of the historical campaign. The block games system allows players to experience the fog-of-war with concealed unit types & strengths.
