The Regent of the area is... angry. The last eight or so Tremere to come to the Chantry have violated the Traditions so badly, the Prince is nearly ready to ban Tremere from the city. That would be a very bad thing to happen given the hot-bed of magic that is here. You have been hand-picked for your loyalty, your expertise, and your ability to get things done without breaking your Oath or the Traditions. Your goals are to bring House Tremere back to glory, examine and research some places of magic, and not piss off the Regent - or the Prince - in the process
