Okay the place looks like a Three Musketeers set and everyone is dressed accordingly. Wait. Is that a blimp with a neon display on its side? And we're here to hunt a dragon?
Spoons is a place where the spiritual outlooks of the 17th Century has prevailed while elements of industrial age technology, sometime even more futuristic bits, have crept in. The styles still tend to look very swashbuckler. Though the people speak of tolerance and liberation, there is a distinct mindset of people making judgements about how "good" or "righteous" other people are. Minor crimes are punished by time in the public stocks, while anything more serious than petty theft is a hanging offense. And for "malicious sorcery" that's beheading and burning of the body. These being times, it is the 21st Century according to their calendar as well, they've stopped burning then beheading witches and warlocks, though a vampire is not awarded such niceties.
