Blackmail, kidnapping, & alchemy; not words you'd normally associate with soccer. Come explore the dark side of the 1906 Constantinople Football Association League & may the best cheater win.
The Constantinople Football Association League was founded in the 1901-02 season. In five short years, participation has grown to eight clubs and the league’s matches have become quite popular. The teams are mostly broken down by nationality and the league has become a proxy for the political and social aspirations of the Turks, Russians, Germans, and Englishmen who sponsor the clubs. The last two seasons have been dominated by the HMS Imogene Football Club, made up of members of the crew of the British airship of that name. The club’s rapid rise has raised a few eyebrows but there has been no evidence of wrongdoing, until now. Your group of Russian spies is recruited by the Tzar’s representative in Constantinople to investigate the disappearance of the Russian club’s star player, mere days before the championship match with the British club.
