They call it the heroic new age of exploration! Join the team put together by the Royal Geographical Society to explore the uncharted reaches of Antarctica! Fly down on the Societies state of the art airship the Archimedes; no treacherous ocean crossing for you. Well, that’s how they got you to join up. Once under way the Professor started talking about an ancient Greek codex that was found in the frozen hands of a sailor found drifting in a lifeboat off the coast of Argentina. In this codex was an ancient map of Antarctica marked with a path to a particular mountain and something labeled the Cave of Wonders. With a feverish gleam in his eye the professor tells you that the rewards will be much greater than some mundane trudging around in the snow like Shackleton. The implausibility of the whole affair does cross your mind but an ancient mystery beckons, as does a great deal of money.
