Zero-Level Funnel (ZLF). A published adventure GMed by author Steve Bean. Your PCs are yeomen farmers whose precious crop is threatened by a foul feculence flowing downstream from your liege Lord's country estate. When he fails to stop the pollution you take up arms to save your lands! Will this be the start of a long career as a hero or will it be the day of your untimely death? An Old School Renaissance RPG with mechanics for the modern gamer. It mixes a flexible, cinematic rule set with the flavors of classic Sword & Sorcery literature, "elder gods", and cosmic mystery. The Zero-Level Funnel is a unique, fun feature. Through the ZLF players uncover the aptitudes that will launch (some of - okay, a few of) their peasant PCs on new career as adventurers- via a violent process of vocational Darwinism!
