Since 1995, Renaissance Adventures has helped thousands of kids develop critical thinking, teamwork, ethical reasoning, and other “21st century skills†through live-action roleplaying games. We want to share our insights into creating a successful company that runs exciting youth LARPs. With four full-time staff, 30+ seasonal staff, a well-developed product line (including a game system, quests, publications, and boffers), and the satisfaction of doing what we love and can be proud of, our heart is to find others that have the same inspiration. This presentation gives an overview of our business model, how to launch this business in your community, and how to make it grow. We hope to encourage independent entrepreneurs to launch their own LARPs, full- or part-time, with or without the support we offer (training, business methods, manuals, wholesale products, marketing templates, etc.).
