Learn how to find, hire, and work with artists, based on the years of experiences our guests have had in the industry.
Aspiring game designer Timothy Nanzer will be joined by Ian and Charlie Price of Diamond Dust Dreams, Inc. to give a short presentation on hiring artists. Tim will start by talking about finding, hiring, and working with artists, based on his own experiences and the things he's learned over the years. Ian and Charlie will finish with a nuts and bolts discussion about contracts. Topics covered will include: Contacting professional illustrators; agreeing on the scope of work; rights and compensation; writing contract language.
