Speakers will discuss the creation and implementation of games for library instruction. Examples of games that specifically support the Association of College and Research Libraries' Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education will be covered. Methods for developing games specific to the needs of individual library instruction programs based on current game design theory will be discussed and attendees will workshop on potential games to bring back to their classes.
