This class will expand your repertoire past maki rolls to include hand rolls and nigiri (fish over rice). You will learn proper knife skills, choosing the best fish, and presentation of the product.

Already mastered basic sushi rolls? Looking for a way to really impress your friends and bring your sushi to a whole new level? If so, this intermediate sushi class is for you. This Japanese inspired class will teach you how to make nigiri sushi, proper fish cutting techniques, hand rolls, presentation, and some tips on knowing what fish to buy. In this class you will be making a hand roll, and two types of nigiri sushi, which you will also be able to eat, so come hungry. Even if the event is sold out, feel free to stop by at the time of the event as we sometimes have extra ingredients and cancellations. Just make sure to bring the equivalent cost in generic or other event tickets. While scheduled for 2 hours, the actual event time will be slightly shorter, allowing the presenters time to setup beforehand and cleanup afterwards.
