The mysterious pipes upon which the city of Uxphon was built have become dangerously unstable.
Nobody knows who built the strange pipes of Uxphon, what their purpose is or was, or what they carried (or still carry). The pipes have simply always been there. Some still warm from the flow of some uknown fluid moving though them, others silent and dry. The city has grown around them, using them for warmth, shelter, and a solid foundation for their buildings. "Dead" pipes serve as streets or corridors. Recently though, the pipes have begun to change. Warm pipes have grown cold, "street" pipes have flooded with a strange, blue fluid that crystalizes in sunlight. And most troubling, one of the larger pipes burst, collapsing several buildings built upon it and flooding the area with the same blue fluid. The party are called to investigate these disturbances and to help restore stability to the city of Uxphon.
