The village of Hommlet has grown up around a crossroads in a woodland. The town now suffers from the incursions of bandits & strange monsters -- time to find out why! Can you succeed in stamping out any dangers and make it back to tell the tale to others around the comfort of the village inn fireplace or is this a warning for something far more sinister? The towns folk must be enlightened to their plight either way. This is the classic TSR adventure module for AD&D 1st rules -- especially excellent if you're a beginner that's new to role playing games as well!
