Looking to start a club? Get experienced information on how to start, what to do, how to get involved in the community, and how to keep the enthusiasm going all year long!
Looking to start a club? Get experienced information from a teacher who has been running a successful club for over two years. There will be examples of how to start (talking to administrators, aligning your club with standards, and how to find the games/money), what to do once your club has gotten up and running, and how to keep it going all year long without losing student interest! There is also a focus on how to get your game club involved in the local community, as well as the school’s community. A focus is placed on Middle School, but information can translate across grade levels. Ideas, game list suggestions, and other helpful information for starting your club will be provided.
